Supports to NCS students:
We received grants for support to NCS students in recruiting additional teaching staff for supporting NCS students to learn Chinese and employ the translation services for school notices and parenting talks when necessary.
Individual/ small group learning activities taught by NCS teachers are given to NCS students in accordance with their ability and learning progress to boost up their confidence in learning Chinese and help them to adapt to school life.
Periodic gathering for NCS family group is organized to promote a sense of belongings to school and build up the good relationship among them for exchanges of effective ways to support their children’s learning Chinese at home.
Last but not the least, we take an active role to facilitate the professional development of our teaching staff to develop effective strategies to support our NCS students in learning Chinese.
