K1-K3 Application for admission for the School Year 2026/27

  1. Age:
K1：  Children born before December 31, 2023
K2：  Children born before December 31, 2022
K3：  Children born before December 31, 2021
  1. If the birth year of your child cannot be selected for the appropriate class (repeater or delayed entry students) in the online system, parents are kindly requested to visit the school in person during office hours for registration after 8 September, 2025 (please use the Bonham Road entrance).
  2. Submission of Application Form：
    1. Application for admission for K1 to K3 will be open from 5/9/2025 (Fri) to 3/11/2025 (Mon). Please fill in the online application form and submit.
    2. Application fee of HK$40 should be paid by Paypal (via credit card).
    3. The paid application fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
  3. Interview Arrangement
    1. For K1-K3, the interview will be conducted on 15 November 2025.
    2. Interview will be arranged for all successful applicants. Details will be informed through email on or before 7 November 2025.
    3. Support is provided for NCS students during admission interviews, specific teachers would be assigned to help with translation services or using English as medium during the interview; or NCS student accompanied by relatives who know Chinese.
  4. Admission Criteria
    1. Interview performance of the child.
    2. Priority will be given to applicants who meet the following requirement(s): – Parents are the employ of our school / our school manager. – Sibling(s) are the graduate / student of our kindergarten.
  5. Announcement of Admission Results
    1. For K1-K3, the result will be announced before 12 December 2025 by email.
  6. Application for the “2026/27 Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission”
    1. St. Stephen’s Church Kindergarten is one of the participating kindergarten of the Free Quality Kindergarten Education Scheme by the Education Bureau. Parents are required to submit an application for the “2026/27 Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission” (hereafter referred as “2026/27 RC”) to EDB from September to November 2025 as to obtain the document for registration in the school year of 2026/27. The ”2026/27 RC” has been opened for application in September 2025.   7. 8.KG Registration
    1. Successful applicants: Parents should complete the registration procedures for their child on 8-10/1/2026 by submitting the original copy of the “2026/27 RC” to our kindergarten and pay for the registration fee of HK$970.
    2. Applicants on the waiting list: If there is any vacancy, we will notify the parents to come for the registration by phone. Please submit the original copy “2026/27 RC” and pay for the registration fee.
    3. Please be reminded that if parents cannot submit the “2026/27 RC” within the registration period, the kindergarten may not be able to complete the registration for children. Hence, parents are required to submit application for the Registration Certificate to the EDB within the specified period.
    4. The registration fee will be deducted from the school fee for September 2026 or refunded to the admitted student. Should parents decide to change school after registration, a written notification to the kindergarten is required. The kindergarten will return the “2026/27 RC” to the child, but not the registration fee. The kindergarten will no longer reserve the school place for the applicant after the “2026/27 RC” is returned.
