Objectives of Activities：
- To help children have a basic understanding of the national flag and the etiquette to be followed in the national flag raising ceremony.
- To facilitate children in developing the proper attitude during the flag raising ceremony.
- To enable children to learn to behave in a solemn and respectful manner when the national anthem is being played.
- To cultivate children an affection for the nation and the national identity.
Summary of Activities：
The flag raising ceremonies are held for Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Establishment Day on 1st July and the National Day on 1st October.

Name of Activities：Lunar New Year Gathering and Celebration (Lunar New Year Fair)

Objectives of Activities：
- To enable children to experience the culture of the Lunar New Year and learn traditional Chinese foods.
- To foster children’s appreciation for the value and significance of respecting the Lunar New Year’s traditions.
Summary of Activities：
- During project based approach of Lunar New year, children explore and learn the Lunar New Year’s custom and traditions through reading picture books.
- Children wearing traditional Chinese clothes are gathered to greet the Principal and teachers in a traditional way.
- In accordance with the learning outcomes of children at all grades during project based approach study, children’s works are displayed in the Lunar New Year Fair.

- To enable children getting to know the Mid-Autumn Festival traditional foods and the custom of carrying lanterns Activities through storytelling and Chinese folk games.
- To enhance children’s appreciation of Chinese Culture.
- To promote children’s cooperation and appreciation of others.
Summary of Activities：
- 1. Children play games and carry lanterns to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival.
- Children learn the importance of cooperation and appreciation through these activities.
